CALL FOR FREE COMMUNICATIONS AND POSTERS

Deadline for abstract submission has been extended to April 15, 2004.

 

 

The official language of the Conference will be English. Invited speakers and participants interested in oral or poster presentations are requested to submit abstracts before April 1st, 2004. Abstracts received on time will be published in Reproductive Toxicology, the official journal of the ETS. Abstracts received later will be distributed  at the Conference as loose-leaf additions to the conference booklet.

Abstracts should be submitted by e-mail to info@forumcongress.com as attached file in word.doc format in the email you have to include all information that requires the abstract form that you can find and print in this website as PDF file. Authors unable to submit abstracts electronically should send it in a 3.2 PC compatible HD disk together with a printed copy of the abstract and all contact details of the presenting author to the Conference Secretariat. Please, use the enclosed abstract form for abstract submission only if you cannot submit abstracts electronically. For abstracts requirements, read the instructions on the abstract form.

 The following equipment will be available: projectors for Power Point presentation (you may bring either the file on disk or CD or your own notebook), overheads and 35-mm slides.

 

 

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION 1st APRIL 2004

Deadline for abstract submission has been extended to April 15, 2004.

 

Authors unable to submit abstracts electronically may send it in a 3.2” PC compatible HD disk together with a printed copy of the abstract and all contact details of the presenting author.

 

The presenting author is responsible for ensuring approval by all coauthors of abstract submission to publication


The duration of free communications will be 10-12 min. plus 3-5 min discussion.

 

The following technical equipment will be available: projectors for Power Point presentation (you may bring either the file on disk or CD or your own notebook), overheads and 35mm slides.


Maximum size of posters:120 cm x 80 cm (height x width)

PLEASE NOTE:

Changes or corrections to the abstract will not be considered after abstract submission

 

 The decision of the Scientific Committee is final. Once accepted by the Scientific Committee, abstracts cannot be withdrawn from publication.

ABSTRACT REQUIREMENTS

English, 300-500 (maximum) words, Times New Roman, single spacing throughout the whole abstract.


Title: Capital letters, 10 point, bold, align left


Authors: Full names, 9 point, bold, align left, name of presenting author asterisked


Affiliation(s): 9 point, italic, align left, annotated by superscript numbers


One line spacing before text


Text: 9 point, normal, justified. Text should be organized in the following format: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion, References. Use these subtitles followed by full stop and immediately by text.


References (optional): max. 4, numbered consecutively in the mentioned order, identified in the text by arabic numerals typed in parentheses, references with 7 or more authors truncated, 9 point, normal justified

 

Acknowledgements of grants and support (if applicable): 9 point, italic, align left
One figure (original size min 8x8cm. TIFF file, 300dpi) or table (one line spacing above and below, referred to in the text) allowed Compatible to PC and Word XP or lower versions
Form of presentation (poster, oral, either/or) indicated


INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS


Slides, powerpoint presentations or tapes should be delivered to the technical staff for checking one hour before the session.


For video presentation the system has to be VHS Pal. For computer presentation IBM compatible.
